Romero suspended for 50 games

Romero was tested positive for banned substances and MLB has suspended him for first 50 games this year. There was controversy over this particular substance as player’s association felt it was permissible and the case was referred for arbitration hearing. MLB and officials have not been too harsh on Romero despite being found guilty. He is being held responsible for being negligent. He is being suspended along with monetary penalties. Romero plays for Philadelphia Phillies. Romero feels punishment is harsh and unfair. 50 Games suspension is too much to take for any player in top season. Romeo is expected to return to MLB scene soon after that. Fans feel Romero would emerge stronger after this controversy is over.

Alex Rodriguez’s Dash with Controversies


Recently A-Rod admitted using banned substance for 3 years. He was
tested positive around 6 years ago in 2003. He used to play for Texas
Rangers in 2003 and he was one of 104 players who were tested positive
in that year. There were no penalties for him in 2003. Now ghosts of
the past are not leaving him alone. His test report has been made
public, his fans are upset with him and media is hounding him. Alex is
trying to calm the situation and MLB association and authorities are
silent on the issue. As time will pass, the old report will fade in to
the pages of history. He remains very popular among his fans.

MLB Star Tejada Pleads Quilty

MLB star Tejada pleads guilty over misleading congress about doping.
He became first MLB star to be involved into use of banned steroids.
In a congressional hearing, he had cited no knowledge of any substance
being used in MLB. Consequences of pleading guilty can be far fetching
for him. Laws are powerful and he might be deported back to Dominican
Republic. Tejada has apologized for his mistakes and seek pardon from
his fans. Substance use is banned in many games and all gaming
authorities have strict code of conduct and policies again any use of
steroids and other substances. If found guilty and convicted Tejada
might be jailed and banned for playing further MLB events in future.
