NBA Playoffs 2009 have made a mark in television history. It has
scored maximum number of viewers in history than any other sport or
program. As data released by AC Nielsen Media Research, NBA Playoffs have been watched by more than 10 million viewers across US. Data includes the figures for pay per viewing. Major channels like ESPN, TNT have earned advertising profits more than any single season in the history of 25 years. Still the Playoffs are not over. It is expected that viewership will go high and these numbers will climb further to add to history. It has earned great amount of advertising revenue for top TV channels.

MMA is gaining immense popularity among other players around the world. Latest player is Rex Richards who is former NFL star. He will be joining Mixed Martial Arts with UFC. According to Rex, he liked MMA for its flexibility of rules on fighting the opponent. Many NFL players in the past tried their luck in MMA. Some were more successful and some got no excitement. Rex Richards have tried his luck in different MMA events earlier as well. This time, he will be entering in to MMA for full time and will have his events very soon. Rex Richards used to play for Indianapolis Colt and Arena Football League San Jose Sabercat. Rex is planning to start his training sessions with new coach in this season.
NFL Network Remains with Comcast
Comcast will continue to be provider for NFL news and sporting action. There were some disagreement between NFL and Comcast. Both parties are in agreement to continue the association. Recently, Comcast’s contract with NFL expired. Fans were eagerly waiting for new provider. It is great relief for fans to continue watching NFL action with Comcast. Comcast earns greater revenue from advertising and pay per view programming and it is profitable for both to remain bound with the contract. NFL remains very popular among NFL fans and viewers. The solution will help both these companies to find some relief for customer and fans of NFL.
